Last month in the mid of March, we finally carried out an inspection for BOMBA. I have been informed by very very reliable sources that there was panic and chaos on the day of inspection because the notice for testing was only put up on notice boards “A DAY BEFORE THE INSPECTION AND TESTING”!!!

There were people who witnessed office workers rushing to the Ground Floor thinking there was a REAL FIRE. No one knew what to do or where they should go as there were no personnel onsite to direct or guide anybody. Some took their anger and began shouting at VPC staff.

Surely the MC could have handled their communications and publicity better as it appeared not many people knew about this BOMBA testing. And given such a major exercise was taking place, this kind of panic could have resulted in accidents. Sigh….
